WES of CfBT is a leading independent provider of education and training services with operations world-wide and regional bases in South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the USA, and its headquarters in the UK.

We provide a full range of educational consultancy and inspection services to corporate clients and to schools world-wide, including bi-lingual, British and international schools. We work in partnership with many such schools, to help bring about school improvement and the continuous professional development of teachers.

We assist national and local governments in different parts of the world to plan and implement reform and we are a major provider of education and expertise to the British government, local authorities and within the independent sector. Globally we are also engaged in private-public partnerships.

Our work in the UK includes management of regional school inspection services, on behalf of the government regulator Ofsted, and the design and delivery of the national accelerated programme for future leaders of British schools. We also work with local education authorities, supporting schools in the process of school self-evaluation (supported by our new ICT tool, STRATIS).

We have substantial experience of working in schools with pupils who do not have English as their first language. We combine integrity and rigour with our cultural sensitivity.
